Thisdesign thinkingcourse is meant to stimulate children's imagination and creativity, help them use their brains and hands to solve problems, and get inspired to create a better world.
新奇乐开发的设计思维课程旨在激发儿童无限想象力和创造力，自己动手解决问题，创造美好世界。
Thepurposeofcreating a "design thinking"course is to let the children try different roles and skills, help them find their own strengths, and maximize their self-worth and confidence.
开创“设计思维”课程的目的是让孩子们尝试不同的角色和技能，帮助他们发现自己特长，最大化的实现自我价值。
Maciej -founder of Squiggle Labs - started making things at an early age. He has conducted over 150 workshops inShanghaifor kids and adults - helping them become more creative, better problem solvers, collaborators, and communicators. He has worked with top international schools such as YCIS, SCIS,WellingtonCollege, as well as other institutions such as naked Discovery,XinCheJian, XinFab, and others.He uses his experience in engineering, business, design, and education to create engaging experiences where everyone is learning to making to learn.

Why do children need this course?
Children's psychological development shows thatone year old children use their imagination and creativity up to 96% of the time, but as they grow older they get trained not to use this ability, by the time they are 10 year old they only use their imaginations and creativity 4% of the time.
儿童心理发展表明，孩子1岁时，想象力、创造力高达96%，可这种情况在7岁上学以后发生逆转。到10岁时，孩子丰富的想象力、创造力只剩下4%。而国际教育发展评估组织的调查显示，中国孩子的计算能力排名世界第一，想象力却排名倒数第一，创造力排名倒数第五
多么可怕的现状。我们中国家长重视学识教育，却忽略了最重要的能力——想象力和创造力的培养。这也就是我们HnR开发所有课程的初衷：激发孩子内在的创造性，把童年和天马行空留给孩子。而设计思维这个课程是专为儿童设计的创造力课程，我们一起想象，一起合作，一起创作，一起解决问题，把好的想法变成现实。
Curriculum:
1. Making Together: Tower Challenge-课程1-节节高塔
We’ll learn about making things, and collaborate together to create the highest tower possible with simple materials. After short introduction to the tools and materials we'll be using we'll start building and using critical thinking to figure out what works and what doesn't. We'll also learn about the importance of iteration in learning and making.
简单的材料一起创建高塔。
2. Making Together:Dinosaur Park Challenge-课程2-侏罗纪公园
We’ll explore the world of Dinosaurs and make our own favorite dinosaur out of simple materials. Conducing simple research we'll learn more about different dinosaurs and we'll think about the things dinosaurs would need to survive in our park.
简单的材料一起创建我们自己最爱的侏罗纪公园，同时思考搭建过程中遇到的困难，以及恐龙在公园里赖以生存的东西。
3. Designing Together - Automaton Challenge-课程3-自动机器人
We’ll learn about simple machines and create our own automatons that we can interact with. We'll explore how simple machines we invented to help people be more productive and how technology is changing how we live and do things. We'll come up with ideas on how robots will help us in the future.
我们将学习简单机械，创造我们可以互动的机器人。我们将思考机器可以如何帮助我们更好的生活。
4. Designing Together - Shelter Challenge-课程4-机器人庇护所
In this workshop we'll use our empathy to think about things we need to live, and design and make a shelter for our own simple robot creature. We'll brainstorm what features our shelters should have, create simple sketches to guide our thinking, and test how well everything works.
